Shalom Ilan, haveri! Thank you for thinking of me. We've had an ice and snow snow that came in last night and expect another tonight. My car door won't open. Frozen shut.
I would love to visit my beloved Land but probably can't for many reasons: I'm a poor white boy (I'm a poor fellow getting ready to sell my home and move with Mom and her boyfriend Doug to a nice home with my own bedroom in the country). And my AIDS doctors said I'll probably be dead and are in shock I'm not already and have't gotten sick with infectious diseases. Blessed be God! What will be will be. I won't give up without a struggle.

Jeremiah 10 condemns idolatry, both in the letter and in the spirit, whether a physical idol or an idolatrous tradition based upon HEATHEN CUSTOMS like the "Christmas tree" that history clearly exposes as pagan in origin. Those who adorn their Christmas trees and remain in denial about its pagan origin, who play deaf, dumb and blind to the facts, who attempt to dismiss or downplay how it's a heathen custom, are living a lie and shamefully reject the clear commandments of God that speak against such spiritual adultery, mixing and matching pagan error with biblical truth, and will suffer the consequences for being so dishonest and deceitful.

Pagan holidays like Christmas and pagan customs like Christmas trees are both abominations to God. True Christians shun both, we avoid them like the plague, because we love God more than idolatrous traditions of apostate men!

A House of Prayer For All Peoples?
Jewish guards prevent Christians and Jews from exercising their religious right to pray on the Temple Mount? That's right! Only Muslims have unlimited access to Judaism's most holy site. Only the Koran is permitted within. The Tanach (Jewish Scripture, known to much of the world as the "Old Testament") and Christian Scriptures (the New Testament) are forbidden. Yet Israel claims to respect the religious rights of all people.

Germany is a nation in transition. It sits atop Europe economically, financially, militarily and bureaucratically in its dominance of key areas in European politics. Yet Germany has a problem at home. Its own national political leadership is in disarray.

The burning question that will be on everyone’s lips early during this autumn session of parliament will simply be, how long will the leaders of the two key parties, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Free Democratic Party (FDP), last?

CDU leader Angela Merkel, long having dragged behind Germany’s most popular politician, Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, in the polls, has now been overtaken by her old nemesis, Social Democratic Party leader Frank-Walter Steinmeier. At the same time, the popularity of the leader of her senior FDP coalition partner, Vice Chancellor Guido Westerwelle, has tanked. There are calls from within his own party for him to step down and make way for another FDP leader.

This all presents an interesting scenario as we approach a seething autumn political season in Europe, amid a foreign-policy nightmare. On the international front, there’s the ongoing global economic crisis, a nuclear assertive Iran, the United States in retreat from Iraq and a resurgent Taliban in Afghanistan, not to mention China expanding its industry right on Europe’s doorstep. Underneath all of these lead issues are a whole battery of destabilizing trends within Africa and South America, plus a rising power on the Indian subcontinent. Across the Yellow Sea there’s the provocatively unpredictable North Korea. In the Sea of Japan, the island peoples of Nippon are reviewing their defense policies seeking a more aggressive role on the world stage. On top of all that is a newly resurgent imperialist Russia.

In such a world, a global power such as Germany needs strong, assertive political leadership. The days of a fattened Germany, grown large on the undoubted fruits of its labors, being content to cuddle up to the motherly image of “mutti” Merkel, are past. The chancellor’s days are numbered. She is now being overtaken by events she is simply not geared to handle—and it has certainly shown in her poor performance since her reelection with reduced support last October.

Merkel’s downfall comes at a very interesting and challenging time in German politics—a time when three tried and proven politicians await their moment to move in for the kill. That moment may be closer than most realize.

We have featured three personalities quite heavily in our continuing analysis of Germany in relation to its final drive to lead the European empire: Edmund Stoiber, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and, lately, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg.

Edmund Stoiber is far from a spent force. The political champion of Bavaria, he took over the leadership of the Catholicized Bavarian Christian Social Union from the former strong man of Europe Franz Josef Strauss and developed the state of Bavaria into the economic powerhouse of the German nation. After leading in the polls, he was narrowly beaten by Gerhard Schröder in the 2002 election for the chancellorship. He later declined the office of economics minister in the first Merkel government and was then hired by the EU as its Mr. Fixit, charged with cutting the mass of red tape that chokes the plethora of mushrooming European institutions and departments. Stoiber is a supporter of Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who in turn has shown Herr Stoiber a deal of favor.

Edmund Stoiber is an arch Catholic conservative of the first order, a rank supporter of his fellow Bavarian Pope Benedict XVI. Stoiber mentored Baron Guttenberg’s rise in Bavarian politics within the Christian Social Union, even as he himself was previously mentored by Strauss. Though seldom in the limelight of recent years, one gets the feeling that he is a man waiting for a return to active political involvement in Germany and Europe.

Steinmeier is another kettle of fish altogether. Known as the eminence gris of German politics, he has headed its secret service, been foreign minister in Chancellor Merkel’s previous government, and was a confidante and personal aide to Chancellor Schröder during his term in office. Steinmeier is closely attuned to Russian politics and foreign policy and is personally acquainted with Putin. Russian-German relations are crucial to Germany’s role as the dominant player in the European Union.

After losing the chancellorship and the lead in coalition membership to Guido Westerwelle’s Federal Democrats, Steinmeier has been busy in opposition taking every opportunity to stab at both Merkel and Westerwelle in the political quagmire that has resulted since the 2009 election. Recently his popularity has spiked; public opinion now has him the second-most popular politician in Germany.

Of course, as has been the case for the past year, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, baron of the Holy Roman Empire, maintains his position as the shining star of politics in Germany and is now being touted as the ideal new chancellor. Guttenberg runs an extremely high profile in Germany’s press. He has visited Afghanistan on five occasions in 10 months. He has been preparing for a flight in one of the Luftwaffe’s high-tech Eurofighter jets this summer. He has launched the Bundeswehr’s own online television station and endorsed Germany’s new military veteran’s association. This is all in line with his determination to develop a positive public image for the Bundeswehr in the process of seeking wide public support for its growing profile, particularly for its increased deployment overseas.

Guttenberg has it all: charisma, pizzazz, high energy, high intellect. He is articulate in both German and English, of aristocratic bearing yet with a touch with the common people. Most important in this highly visual age, he has great camera presence.

These three—Stoiber, Steinmeier and Guttenberg—would make a formidable triumvirate in German politics today. Together they could complete the trifecta at any upcoming German election. What a powerful team they would make! A team for Germany’s moment of domination on the world scene—a moment that has been prophesied to come for over 3,000 years through the inerrant prophecies embedded in your Bible. It’s an inevitable moment that the signs indicate will arrive sooner, much sooner, rather than later.

Will this be the team to dominate German and European politics when Merkel’s coalition falls apart? We honestly don’t know. What does seem inevitable is that Steinmeier is on the comeback trail, Merkel and Westerwelle are on the wane, Guttenberg’s star is shining brighter than ever, and a politician molded in the style of that grand old strong man of Europe, Franz Josef Strauss, bides his time in the wings.

Watch Germany this autumn. The political fallout may eventually prove earthshaking! •

The strict application of the so-called stability criteria, put through by the German government, imposes drastic austerity measures on all EU member states, which could even cut into their military budgets, according to Berlin. This cannot be achieved except at the expense of a loss of military power, unless steps are taken toward consolidating all of the individual armed forces in Europe using the synergic effects to reinforce the united European army. Berlin has been pursuing this objective for years, confronting - at times open - resistance inside the EU as well as from the United States. Germany has been pushing these plans to enhance its position - with military means - in the new constellation of global forces being created by China's rise to become a world power. Just keep the 10 Commandments?

Recently several of my senior neighbors and I were discussing religious differences. I commented whether Methodist, Catholic or Baptist, they all believe in the same basic beliefs: the Babylonian Mystery religious doctrines of "going to Heaven or Hell," Sunday over Sabbath, Christmas, Easter. They agreed everybody should "just keep the 10 Commandments."

Jesus did say we should keep the commandments, in spirit and in truth (Matthew 19:16-17). But neither Catholics or Protestants keep the commandments! They reject the plain truth of the Bible to keep their idolatrous traditions.

I asked my friends (who said we should "just keep the 10 Commandments") whether they were ready to stop keeping Sunday and start keeping the Sabbath - to "remember the Sabbath to keep it holy." Apparently the question caught them off guard as neither replied. How about you? Will you keep the commandments, so help you God, including the Fourth Commandment?

Preparing to Rebuild Joseph's Tomb

Chief Rabbis Shlomo Amar and Yona Metzger issued a joint call Thursday to rebuild Joseph's Tomb (Kever Yosef) in Samaria. The tomb, which contains the remains of the Biblical Joseph, has been seriously damaged by Palestinian Authority vandals.

The site is under PA control, and for most of the year is closed to Jewish worshippers. On select occasions Jews are allowed in to briefly say prayers under IDF guard. The number of worshippers is limited, and would-be visitors often wait months for their turn to pray at the holy site.

The tomb has been vandalized several times and periodically also set on fire since 2000, when Israel turned control of the city of Shechem over to the PA. In 2009 visitors arrived at the site to discover smashed headstones and swastikas painted on the walls.

Federal judge overturns California ban on homosexual “marriage.” By Stephen Flurry

When Californians voted to ban same-sex “marriage” in 2008, some Republicans held up the referendum as surefire proof that the United States was conservative to the core. But as we wrote at the time, just because California and two other states voted against homosexual “marriage,” that certainly did not mean America was in the midst of a moral revival. That same-sex “marriage” was even on the ballot perfectly illustrated how steep our slide into deviant behavior has been over the past generation.

In the case of California, Proposition 8 passed by a narrow 52-to-48 percent margin. “But with obnoxious protests and numerous legal challenges now set to inundate courtrooms,” we asked at the time, “how long will marriage remain defined in California as between a man and woman?”

Answer: Less than two years.

This week, federal judge Vaughn Walker issued a detailed, 136-page opinion overturning California’s ban on same-sex unions. With the stroke of a pen, as some commentators noted, one radically liberal jurist voided the opinion of 7 million Californians who voted in favor of the ban.

“That the majority of California voters supported Proposition 8 is irrelevant,” Walker asserted (emphasis mine throughout).

Those who defend marriage in the traditional sense have correctly noted that in every state where same-sex “marriages” are legal, it is the judicial or legislative branches that have approved the measure—not the voters.

But what makes Walker’s ruling especially noteworthy is that it marks the first time a federal judge has ruled that same-sex “marriage” is constitutional (based on a distorted reading of the Fourteenth Amendment). This means the Supreme Court will most likely have final say in settling this dispute.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, outlined what is at stake for America: “This lawsuit, should it be upheld on appeal and in the Supreme Court, would become the ‘Roe v. Wade’ of same-sex ‘marriage,’ overturning the marriage laws of 45 states. As with abortion, the Supreme Court’s involvement would only make the issue more volatile.”

Yet, barring a stunning reversal at the infamously liberal Ninth Circuit, the Supreme Court’s involvement appears to be inevitable. And if this goes to the Supreme Court, we should not assume that the right-leaning group of justices would automatically reverse Judge Walker’s judicial activism. In 2003, remember, when called upon to uphold a Texas law against sodomy, the court ruled by a vote of 6 to 3 that states have no right to criminalize homosexual conduct.

In his dissent, Justice Scalia—perhaps the most conservative justice on the bench—acknowledged that if homosexual conduct was now constitutional, “[W]hat justification could there possibly be for denying the benefits of marriage to homosexual couples”?

Indeed, in his ruling this week, Judge Walker grabbed that line of reasoning and ran with it, stating that homosexual conduct and attraction are constitutionally protected. By “constitutionally protected,” of course, he was referring to the 2003 ruling—certainly not the original intent of those who actually framed the Constitution as law of the land.

As Mark Levin wrote in Men in Black, at America’s founding, “[S]odomy was a criminal offense under the common law and was prohibited by the original 13 states when they ratified the Bill of Rights.” These laws, of course, were grounded in Scripture, which is why—after voiding the votes of 7 million Californians and trampling over the Fourteenth Amendment—Judge Walker reserved his most contemptuous condemnation for religion and morality.

Among his findings of fact, for example, Judge Walker ruled, “Religious beliefs that gay and lesbian relationships are sinful or inferior to heterosexual relationships harm gays and lesbians.” To support this “factual” finding, he cites 18 examples—most of them just doctrinal explanations from religious groups denouncing homosexual behavior as unbiblical and sinful.

In Judge Walker’s mind, it is Bible-based theology, not unnatural or unlawful sexual orientation, that poses a dangerous threat to homosexuals and lesbians.

Walker wrote, “The evidence shows conclusively that moral and religious views form the only basis for a belief that same-sex couples are different from opposite-sex couples.” And this, he concluded, is no basis for legislating against same-sex “marriages.” Religion and morality, in other words, have absolutely no bearing on whether or not homosexual “marriage” is constitutional.

It’s a far cry from the way our Founding Fathers viewed constitutional law. The way President John Adams viewed it, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

America’s first president, George Washington, said during his Farewell Address in 1796, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”

These God-fearing men understood well that without the moral restrictions of a higher spiritual law, the many liberties afforded Americans in the Constitution would lead to anarchy—and end in destruction.

This is the road we are on. This is why, even as conservative commentators assure Americans that a moral revival is right around the corner, we tell you the truth.

Four years ago, remember, a radical leftist from San Francisco—who favors homosexual “marriage,” abortion rights, higher taxes, amnesty for illegal immigrants and appeasement and retreat in the war against terror—led the liberal charge across Capitol Hill.

At the time, my father warned that those midterm elections “changed American politics forever.” He wrote,

San Francisco values will now permeate every major decision made by the American government.

San Francisco is the homosexual capital of America. It is a seat of liberalism and one of the most morally and spiritually bankrupt cities in the country. Now a leader saturated in San Francisco values and beliefs is one of the most powerful politicians in the land.

That’s what he wrote in 2006 about Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic sweep through both houses of Congress. That was two years before the American electorate handed the White House over to the most radical liberal in U.S. history.

It was almost four years before one lone judge—an open homosexual who hails from San Francisco—imposed his perverted world view on the state of California and, quite possibly, the rest of the United States. •

The debate over same-sex “marriage” is merely a symptom of a society that has already cast off moral restraint.

Those who defend same-sex “marriage” often argue that whether homosexuals marry or not has absolutely no impact on traditional families—that is, the rest of society. But they miss the point—as do most opponents of same-sex “marriage”: The homosexual cause has already impacted our society. A debate over homosexual “marriage” would only be possible in a society that has already cast off moral restraint.

The reality is, as I wrote last week, that same-sex “marriage” is even being debated perfectly illustrates how steep our slide into deviant behavior has been. And it’s only getting worse. Ten years ago, for example, 62 percent of Californians were against same-sex “marriage.” Two years ago, with the passage of Proposition 8, it was 52 percent.

Where will we be 10 years from now?

And remember—whether homosexuality is or is not morally right is not up for debate. That matter has already been mostly settled, with a host of laws prohibiting anything that might be construed as discrimination against homosexuals.

Fact is, while “conservative” media pour scorn on Judge Vaughn Walker for his ruling to overturn California’s ban on same-sex unions—for being anti-democratic, anti-intellectual, anti-law, anti-tradition—they are often very quick to defend the rights of homosexuals in general. The horse has long bolted.

When society turns into Sodom and Gomorrah, ultimately, it does impact everyone. A biblical example is instructive in this area.

Ancient Sodom

The word sodomy is derived from a Latin phrase meaning the “sin of Sodom,” which is vividly discussed, as most people know, in the biblical book of Genesis. Ancient Sodom, like its neighboring city Gomorrah, was well-known for its widespread practice and acceptance of homosexuality. Jude 7 says that besides going after “strange flesh,” the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were “giving themselves over to fornication.” Ezekiel tells us that Sodom was a prosperous area, with an abundance of idleness. But it was also full of pride and abominations (Ezekiel 16:49-50).

In the Genesis 19 account, the men of Sodom wanted to sodomize two visitors, actually angels, who had come to see if the city should be spared God’s wrath. While these two angels remained locked inside the home of Lot, an angry mob outside cried out for the new flesh. Inside the home, the angels proceeded to give Lot and his family clear and precise instructions concerning the future welfare of Sodom and neighboring Gomorrah. “Then the men said to Lot, Have you any one else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or any one you have in the city, bring them out of the place; for we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it” (verses 12-13, Revised Standard Version).

Lot relayed this sobering message to the two young men who were to marry his daughters. Now these were two decent men—heterosexuals who had not taken advantage of Lot’s daughters. There had probably been numerous instances where they sat around the table with their future father-in-law decrying the evils and perversions of society. And yet, without realizing it, much of that evil had rubbed off on them! They might have recognized many of the more extreme evils in Sodom, but they had grown accustomed to living there—and actually enjoyed much of it.

How strong society’s pull must have been for these two men, at this most critical hour, to mock God’s warning, as it was delivered through His servant Lot.

Their ridicule even caused a seed of doubt to sprout in Lot’s mind. The next morning, even after the constant prodding from the two angels, Lot began to linger, delaying his departure—so much so that the angels seized Lot and his wife and two daughters by the hands and forcibly led them out of the sinful city! Upon leaving the city, the angels shouted at Lot’s family, Run for your lives! And don’t even stop to look back, lest you be consumed as well!

“Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground” (verses 24-25, rsv).

And yet, we somehow think we are so far superior to these ancient societies and that there is no way universal destruction could ever happen again—even though it’s prophesied.

Even Thus Shall It Be …

The Old Testament Prophet Isaiah compares our peoples to those of Sodom and Gomorrah, describing us as being “sick” from head to toe. He prophesied of our eventual ruin and desolation as a result of our universal sin and rebellion against God’s laws.

The Apostle Peter also issued a grave warning for our present day, drawing on the lesson from Sodom and Gomorrah, saying that God turned them into ashes, “making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly” (2 Peter 2:6).

The epistle of Jude, another New Testament message, speaks of these two cities as suffering the “vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude also wrote that God set them forth as an example for our day.

The union worker, the chief executive, the capitalist, and all of us are facing the same problem: We stand on the very brink of economic breakdown. Can America come together to fix its problems?

States and cities across the country are on the verge of failure. Some small cities have already gone bankrupt. Government officials are being forced to consider unprecedented actions.

But the times are unprecedented!

In Hawaii, the state has not only furloughed its teachers, it has furloughed its students—instituting a four-day school week. Student classroom time was cut by 20 percent. The state is far from alone, and the New York Times reports that more school districts are considering doing the same.

In Georgia, Clayton County shut down its bus system in a desperate attempt to balance its budget. The hard decision stranded 8,400 daily commuters.

In Colorado Springs, the city switched off one third of its 24,512 streetlamps to conserve cash. It slashed its police force and parks department.

And all the while, one small business after another shutters its doors for good.

It is deindustrialization on a national scale. But it is more than that.

All across America—North Dakota, Michigan, Alabama, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere—states are grinding up asphalt roads and letting them go back to gravel. Some states, like Ohio, can’t even afford the grinding costs and are simply letting the roads erode back to gravel. The arteries, the linkages connecting small-town America with the giant interstate markets, are being chewed up and spit out.

Is it a sign that America is headed “back to the Stone Age”? wonders Purdue University’s John Habermann.

Furloughing children, pawning the city’s buses, street lights going dark, reverting to gravel: All these stories have a common theme: squandered wealth. More specifically, plundered wealth.

Almost without exception, the high cost of unions—and the corrupt officials who allowed states to indenture themselves, their children and their children’s children to the unions—are bankrupting the nation.

Don’t believe it? It is simple math.

On a national level, it is well known that Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare are on course to break the nation. The Comptroller General’s Office has estimated that the U.S. government will need $59 trillion to pay for these programs over the coming years. Since the total U.S. budget is only around $3 trillion, the dirty little secret that everyone in Washington knows, but won’t admit, is that these programs are soon to be severely cut or eliminated. America just doesn’t have the money to pay for all these retirement promises.

Social Security is already giving out more in benefits than it collects in premiums. To make up the difference, the federal government borrows money to pay benefits.

This kind of financial irresponsibility can only go on for so long. The system is already breaking and it is primarily due to two gigantic unions. They are called Democrats and Republicans. Both unions pretend to stand for different things, but in the end, they both just want your vote. And in America, you are a card-carrying member of one or the other or your voice gets squashed.

At the more local level, employee unions are doing a fantastic job of sabotaging the economy too. Take the recent state multibillion-dollar bailout just passed by Congress.

On August 10, at a special session, the House voted to give states $26 billion to prevent 300,000 teachers, police and other public employees from being laid off.

But why do the states need a bailout in the first place? Why is it the federal government is now paying the salaries of state employees? Because states are bankrupt. According to the New York Times, states are running a cumulative $3 trillion funding deficit.

Why such a huge deficit? Because they have made unsustainable and extravagant promises to unions.

For example, in Milwaukee, the teachers union is fighting the school board to get taxpayer-funded Viagra back into their health plans. If a judge forces the school board to pay up, based on historical usage it will cost the city an astounding $787,000 per year.

Think about that.

Seven hundred and eighty-seven thousand dollars—each and every year—so teachers can get paid access to the passion pill. This is how ridiculous unions have become. With the whole nation mired in a deep recession, with millions of people losing their jobs, this is the union’s priority?

But here is the real kick in the pants for taxpayers.

According to a consultant for the school board, the $787,000 could be instead used to “keep perhaps a dozen first-year teachers employed.”

Did you get that? In other words, the cost to the city for hiring a unionized rookie teacher straight out of college is $65,000 per year (when including benefits). In some school districts, teachers are paid more than $72,000 per year, not including benefits. Benefits like family health care for a family of four can cost around $22,000 per year.

And when public employees retire, they are often entitled to a salary plus benefits equal to their highest wage earned throughout their career. And employees have learned to take advantage of this, engaging in retirement spiking—by working as much overtime as possible during the final year of employment—and then collecting “juiced” pension payments for the rest of their life.

Let’s assume a private-sector employee wanted to retire and receive a $65,000 annual salary. If that person thought he or she would live for 20 years beyond retirement, assuming a generous 7 percent annual return he or she would need to plop down almost $700,000.

How many people have that kind of money at retirement? Unions have done well.

Next question: How many teachers, police, firefighters and other unionized employees are on state payrolls heading for retirement? New Jersey, for example, has 200,000 members in just its teachers union. Can you see why states are going bankrupt? Look how much money will be needed to cover all these teachers’ salaries as they retire.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has been very vocal about the union parasites in his state. In a speech earlier this year he told how each and every teacher is required to pay $730 per year in mandatory dues to the union. And if teachers wants to opt out of the union, that is fine, but they still have to pay $620 per year to the union just for the privilege of opting out. The New Jersey teachers union alone collects around $130 million per year in mandatory dues. According to Christie, it is blood money used to coerce and blackmail politicians into supporting union initiatives.

In Los Angeles, the teachers union is currently trying to blackmail the Los Angeles Times into not reporting on the state of the local school system.

America’s education system is a shambles. Union gangsters care more about preserving their power than helping children.

Teachers unions have become so corrupt that it is virtually impossible to fire bad teachers. Unions won’t even allow teachers “engaging in lewd behavior,” or who make sexual advances to students, to be fired. Some unions have even become child molesters’ best friends, protecting them from losing their jobs and paychecks. Here is a snippet from the Los Angeles Times:

Every school day, Kim’s shift begins at 7:50 a.m., with 30 minutes for lunch, and ends when the bell at his old campus rings at 3:20 p.m. He is to take off all breaks, school vacations and holidays, per a district agreement with the teachers union. At no time is he to be given any work by the district or show up at school.

He has never missed a paycheck.

In the jargon of the school district, Kim is being “housed” while his fitness to teach is under review. A special education teacher, he was removed from Grant High School in Van Nuys and assigned to a district office in 2002 after the school board voted to fire him for allegedly harassing teenage students and colleagues. In the meantime, the district has spent more than $2 million on him in salary and legal costs.

Last week, Kim was ordered to continue this daily routine at home. District officials said the offices for “housed” employees were becoming too crowded.

About 160 teachers and other staff sit idly in buildings scattered around the sprawling district, waiting for allegations of misconduct to be resolved.

The housed are accused, among other things, of sexual contact with students, harassment, theft or drug possession. Nearly all are being paid. All told, they collect about $10 million in salaries per year—even as the district is contemplating widespread layoffs of teachers because of a financial shortfall.

“It’s a glaring example of how hard it is to remove someone from the classroom and how the process is tilted toward teachers,” said school board member Marlene Canter, who recently proposed—unsuccessfully—to revamp the disciplinary process.

As sad as that is, it is just one sad example of what unions have become. And teachers unions are only the beginning.

In Oakland, California, 75 percent of the city budget goes toward paying police and firefighters salaries and 10 percent goes to paying interest on city debt. California has one of the highest rates of unemployment in the country, and still these unions are not happy with 75 percent of the money.

Writing for the Plain Truth magazine in April 1985, Herbert W. Armstrong highlighted the problem that unions were becoming. He noted how in the past unions had helped the common workers, preventing them from being exploited by unscrupulous employers.

However, as Herbert Armstrong wrote, the labor unions became corrupted: They “went all out to ‘get’ all possible …. A new ‘get’ economic philosophy infiltrated labor unionism. No longer was a single company a ‘team’ where all worked together against rival competition. … But now capital and management became the enemy of labor. …

“Too often a union leader said to an employee, ‘Slow down, there, buddy—or we’ll all have to work as conscientiously as you are!’”

So now America has come to the state where America can no longer afford unions. When 75 percent of city budgets go just toward the salaries of two unions, they have literally gotten just about all that there is to give.

Yet when it gets right down to it, are the unions really all that different from what goes on in the rest of America?

There are two ways of life: the give way and the get way. As Herbert Armstrong wrote: “‘Get’ seems to have got us all! The ‘get’ incentive is the root cause of all the world’s troubles and evils! The way of ‘give,’ cooperate, serve, help, share, is the basic spiritual law of our Maker! The world has been trying to beat that law—and is being beaten by it!” (ibid.).

With nearly 900 endnotes, the book, "The Manchurian President: Barack Obama's ties to communists, socialists and other anti-American extremists," was written by WND senior reporter Aaron Klein and r esearcher Brenda J. Elliott.

The authors concluded Obama may not be eligible regardless of his place of birth. The book recommends further legislative and judicial debate.

"It is undisputed that Obamas father was not a U.S. citizen," wrote Klein, "a fact that should have led to congressional debate about whether Obama is eligible under the United States Constitution to serve as president."

Obama was born on August 4, 1961, to Stanley Ann Dunham and Barack Obama, Sr. Dunham was an American of predominantly English descent from Wichita, Kansas, and was 18 years old at the time of Obamas birth. Obama Sr. was a member of the Luo tribe from Nyangoma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya, which at the time was still a British colony.

Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution stipulates presidential eligibility, requiring the nations elected chief to be a natural born citizen.

That clause states: No person except a natural born citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

The Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitut ion specifically defines "citizen but not "natural born citizen"

A "citizen" is defined as: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are Citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.

However, no definition of natural born citizen -- which is only used in the presidential requirement clause --was provided anywhere in the Constitution, and to this day the precise meaning of the term is still being debated.

There are no records of any definitive discussion on the matter during the Constitutional Convention. Thatcoupled with the absence of definitive Supreme Court rulings and a wide array of opinions th roughout the centurieshas only further confused the question of what natural born actually means.

Still, the authors found that according to the framers of the Constitution as well as Supreme Court rulings, Obama does not fit the eligibility requirements.

'Natural born' defined

The first U.S. Congress passed a law that began to define natural born. The Naturalization Act of 1790 rejected the condition of being born on U.S. soil, and referred only to parentage: The children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, the Act states, shall be considered as natural born citizens: Provided, t hat the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States.

Five years later, however, Congress repealed the Act.

"Still, it was clear that the intention of the Constitutions 'natural born citizen' qualification was to ensure the country would not be led by an individual with dual loyalties," wrote Klein in "The Manchurian President."

On July 25, 1787, Founding Father John Jay, one of the three authors of the Federalist Papers, wrote to George Washington, who was at the time presiding over the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.

Jay discussed the dual loyalty concern, writing: Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.

Jay, however, also did not define natural born.

'According to John Bingham, guiding tome, Obama not eligible'

Representative John Bingham of Ohio, a principal framer of the Fourteenth Amendment, offered some definition for presidential qualifi cations in a discussion in the House on March 9, 1866: [I] find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill], which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to
any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.

"So according to Bingham, as well, Obama would not be eligible to serve as president," wrote Klein.

In trying to understand what the Founding Fathers meant by natural born, the authors wrote in "The Manchurian President" that some have turned to prominent legal tomes of the day.

The Law of Nations, a 1758 work by Swiss legal philosopher Emmerich de Vattel, was read by many of the American Founders and informed their understanding of the principles of law, which became established in the Constitution of 1787.

De Vattel writes in Book 1, Chapter 19, of his treatise, The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. . . . In order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.

"So by de Vattels standards, Obama arguably would not be eligible to serve as president," wrote Klein.

Obama not eligible according to some Supreme Court decisions

Numerous Supreme Court decisions have yielded conflicting views of citizenship and what it means to be a natural born citizen. In Dred Scott v. Sandford (1857), for example, the Court ruled that citizenship is acquired by place of birth, not through blood or lineage.

But much of that cases decisionwhich had notoriously excluded slaves, and their descendants, from possessing Constitutional righ tswas overturned in 1868.

Another case, Minor v. Happersett, in 1874, mentions the natural born issue:

States that case: "At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country, of parents [plural] who were its citizens [plural], became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further, and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction, without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case, it is not necessary to solve these doubts. It is sufficien t, for everything we have now to consider, that all children, born of citizen parents within the jurisdiction, are themselves citizens.

Writes Klein: "According to this definition, and scores of other Supreme Court rulings, Obama may not be eligible to serve as president."

The authors conclude that a "reading of readily available legal resources regarding the definition of 'natural born citizen clearly indicates a series of legitimate questions about Barack Obamas eligibility for the presidency, given that Obamas father was not an American citizen."

"The resources warrant further debate," wrote Klein.

"The Manchurian President" points out despite these glaring eligibility issues, the legislative and judicial bodies of the U.S. government have held no formal discussions, nor did they conduct a single formal investigation into whether Obama is eligible to serve under the Fourteenth Amendment.

Congress did, however, question the "natural born" qualifications of Obama's 2008 presidential opponent, Senator John McCain.

The scion of distinguished U.S. naval officers, McCain was born to two American parents in the Panama Canal Zone. On April 30, 2008, the U.S. Senate sought to answer the question by passing a nonbinding resolution, which states, "Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American citizens on an American military base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936: Now, therefore, be it resolved, that John Sidney McCain, III, is a 'natural born citizen' under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States."

Obama called 'Manchurian President'

Meanwhile, "The Manchurian President" bills itself as the most exhaustive investigation ever performed into Obama and his radical background and ties.

Among the many finds of "The Manchurian President":

A coalition of extremists, including a founder of William Ayers' Weather Underground domestic-terrorist organization, helped craft Obama's "stimulus" bill;
Obama's health-care policy, masked by moderate populists rhetoric, was pushed along and partially crafted by extremists, some of whom reveal in their own words that their principal aim is to achieve corporate socialist goals and a vast increase in government powers;
Extremists are among Obama's "czars" and other top advisers. New information links top advisers Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett to communist activists. The book uncovers correspondence in which a communist confesses to mentoring and educating Axelrod and helping the top Obama aide to secure his first job. Obama then later worked with the same communist, the book finds;
Copious research reveals more about Obama's deep ties to Ayers, uncovering for the first time where and how Obama first met Ayers - and it is much earlier than previously believed;
Important aspects of Obama's carefully covered-up college years, with new details of his student career at Occidental College and later at Columbia University, are revealed;

A writer who was collecting material for a fictional book based around the premise that top Nazis, seeking to preserve their power at the end of the second world war, conspired to create a Fourth Reich under the auspices of the European Union, actually discovered documents proving the plot to be true.

In a Daily Mail piece, Adam Lebor reveals how he uncovered US Military Intelligence report EW-Pa 128, also known as The Red House Report, which details how top Nazis secretly met at the Maison Rouge Hotel in Strasbourg on August 10, 1944 and, knowing Germany was on the brink of military defeat, conspired to create a Fourth Reich – a pan-European economic empire based around a European common market.

Top Nazi industrialists were ordered by SS Obergruppenfuhrer Dr Scheid to set up front companies abroad and pose as democrats in order to achieve economic penetration and lay the foundations for the re-emergence of the Nazi party.

“The Third Reich was defeated militarily, but powerful Nazi-era bankers, industrialists and civil servants, reborn as democrats, soon prospered in the new West Germany. There they worked for a new cause: European economic and political integration,” writes Lebor.

Wealthy Nazi industrialists like Alfried Krupp of Krupp Industries and Friedrich Flick, as well as front companies like BMW, Siemens and Volkswagen, set about the task of building a new pan-European business empire. According to historian Dr Michael Pinto-Duschinsky, an adviser to Jewish former slave labourers, “For many leading industrial figures close to the Nazi regime, Europe became a cover for pursuing German national interests after the defeat of Hitler….The continuity of the economy of Germany and the economies of post-war Europe is striking. Some of the leading figures in the Nazi economy became leading builders of the European Union.”

Banking titan Hermann Abs, who joined board of Deutsche Bank during the rise of Nazis, also sat on the supervisory board of I.G. Farben, the company that made the Zyklon B gas used to kill concentration camp victims. “Abs was put in charge of allocating Marshall Aid – reconstruction funds – to German industry. By 1948 he was effectively managing Germany’s economic recovery,” writes Lebor.

“Crucially, Abs was also a member of the European League for Economic Co-operation, an elite intellectual pressure group set up in 1946. The league was dedicated to the establishment of a common market, the precursor of the European Union.”

The European League for Economic Co-operation developed policies for European integration that almost mirrored those proposed by Nazis just years previously.

In his book “Europe’s Full Circle,” Rodney Atkinson provides a list of policies proposed by Nazis and their similarity to today’s European Union.

“Is it possible that the Fourth Reich those Nazi industrialists foresaw has, in some part at least, come to pass?” asks Lebor.

“These three typewritten pages are a reminder that today’s drive towards a European federal state is inexorably tangled up with the plans of the SS and German industrialists for a Fourth Reich – an economic rather than military imperium.”

As we have highlighted in the past, Nazism and the EU have some very disturbing parallels. Indeed, the two are fundamentally intertwined and the origins of the EU can be traced directly back to the Nazis.

The foundations for the EU and ultimately the Euro single currency were laid by the secretive Bilderberg Group in the mid-1950’s. Bilderberg’s owned leaked documents prove that the agenda to create a European common market and a single currency were formulated by Bilderberg in 1955. One of the group’s principle founders was H. Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, a former Nazi SS officer.

But the ideological framework for the European Union goes back even further, to the 1940’s when top Nazi economists and academics outlined the plan for a single European economic community, an agenda that was duly followed after the end of the second world war.

In his 1940 book The European Community, Nazi Economics Minister and war criminal Walther Funk wrote about the need to create a “Central European Union” and “European Economic Area” and for fixed exchange rates, stating “No nation in Europe can achieve on its own the highest level of economic freedom which is compatible with all social requirements…The formation of very large economic areas follows a natural law of development….interstate agreements in Europe will control [economic forces generally]…There must be a readiness to subordinate one’s own interests in certain cases to those of [the EC].”

Funk’s co-authors echoed his sentiments. Nazi academic Heinrich Hunke wrote, “Classic national economy..is dead…community of fate which is the European economy…fate and extent of European co-operation depends on a new unity economic plan”.

Fellow Nazi Gustav Koenig observed, “We have a real European Community task before us…I am convinced that this Community effort will last beyond the end of the war.”

In 1940, Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels ordered the creation of the “large-scale economic unification of Europe,” believing that “in fifty years’ time [people would] no longer think in terms of countries.” Just 53 years later, the European Union in its current form was established.

Other top Nazis who called for the creation of a pan-European federal economic superstate include Ribbentrop, Quisling and Seyss-Inquart, who spoke of “The new Europe of solidarity and co-operation among all its people… will find…rapidly increasing prosperity once national economic boundaries are removed.”

Such rhetoric would not look out of place at a present day Bilderberg, Trilateral Commission or CFR confab.

The Nazis killed people who spoke out against the Third Reich, whereas the EU has implemented an altogether more efficient solution – simply kill their free speech instead.

A Dutch MP was recently refused entry to Britain because his political opinions were deemed offensive under EU laws. Euro MP’s have consistently attempted to ban the “dangerous and unregulated blogosphere” in an attempt to shut down free speech on the Internet. Under the 1999 ruling of theEuropean Court Of Justice (case 274/99), it is illegal to criticize the EU and the EU is on a mission to outlaw any national political parties that do not pander to the European federal superstate agenda.

Most of the individuals who hold the reigns of power in the European Union are not Nazis, indeed, they probably believe themselves to be fair-minded liberals working for the “greater good”. However, the European Union by its very nature is totalitarian, because it seeks to remove power from national governments accountable to their electorate and centralize it into the hands of supra-national entities that are accountable to nobody but themselves. It also seeks to remove the right of free speech for anyone in a position of influence who criticizes this agenda.

The fact that the EU was a brainchild of top Nazi economists and industrialists, formulated as a means of preserving dictatorial power and then implemented by a former Nazi working under the auspices of the Bilderberg Group in 1955, proves that the entire European Union system is poisoned with a legacy and a raison d’être of totalitarianism.

This is becoming increasingly obvious in the 21st century as popular social movements across Europe rise up to oppose the blatant power grab being undertaken by the EU via the Lisbon Treaty, which will again be put before Irish voters later this year despite them already rejecting it in a national referendum, which prevented the treaty from being enforced.

Members from all three branches of the Federal government already know that Barack Hussein Obama is ineligible for the office of President. National leaders, to include members of the US Supreme Court, already know that Barack Hussein Obama is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States of America, and therefore, is ineligible for the office he currently holds. What they don’t know is how long it will take for most Americans to figure it out, or what to do about it.

The diversionary search for an authentic birth certificate is ongoing and Obama has now spent in excess of $2 million in legal fees to keep that search alive.

Eric Holder’s Department of Justice continues to deploy taxpayer funded attorneys around the country to file dismissals on behalf of Obama, denying all American citizens access to the courts as a peaceful remedy, which only fuels the fire of discontent and the questions about Obama persist.

Michelle Obama states that Kenya is Barack’s “home country.” She knows, after twenty years with Barack. The Ambassador or Kenya has confirmed the same His family friends all know it, and are in fact quite proud of the fact that Americans had no hesitation in electing a “black man from Kenya” as President of the United States.

The US Supreme Court knows what the constitutional condition of “natural born citizen” means. Even the most far left member of that court, Justice Ginsberg, is on record proclaiming that a “natural born citizen” is a birth child of TWO legal US citizens.

Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi knows that Barack Hussein Obama is not eligible for the office of president, which is why she refused to certify the following language when certifying Obama as the DNC candidate for president in 2008.

This is the normal language for certification of nomination for president and vice president, filed by the DNC only in the state of Hawaii…

This is the language filed by the DNC in the other 49 states, however…

Note that the language which certifies that Barack Hussein Obama meets all constitutional qualifications is missing in the DNC documents filed in 49 of the 50 states. The certification of constitutional qualification for the office of president was filed only in Hawaii. That text is missing in the DNC certification filings for all other states.

I fear that those questions will only be answered at the tip of pitch forks and torches one day. Sooner or later, the people will run out of patience with a system built to exclude them. When that day comes, I fear what methods will be employed and whether or not there will be a country left to save by then.
But sooner or later, one way or another, Obama will have to answer those questions. One day, the world will know who and what this man is and there will be a day of reckoning like no other in American history.

The longer it takes for that day to arrive, the more dangerous the situation will become. A man not even qualified to hold the office is using that office to destroy the greatest nation on earth. How much patience can the people be expected to display?

Obama is not eligible for the office he currently holds and everyone in a position to know - already know.
