All Europe needs is a crisis - real or manufactured - to jolt them out of their stupor that business as usual can continue indefinitely. Folks usually don't change until they're forced to and the Europeans will surprise themselves at how quickly they can shift gears when they come under Iranian attack - or some other monstrous provocation that will bring out the beast in them.

An assault against the EU will require an attitude adjustment and the whole world will be startled to witness it. Remember how quickly Americans rejected their preferred isolationism after Pearl Harbor?

In 'Will Jerusalem become an international city?' by American writer David Ben-Ariel, readers were warned about a German-Vatican plot to take over Jerusalem, urged to take back the Temple Mount and dislodge 'as symbols of foreign occupation' Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

The Jerusalem Post, Jan. 8, 1996, had a front page story about how the GSS sought my deportation for alleged involvement in a "plot to blow up the Al-Aksa mosque."

Even if a fraction of your very serious charges were true, the plain truth of the Bible Herbert W. Armstrong faithfully taught remain true and how perfectly he practiced what he preaches is irrelevant.

Will you throw out everything Solomon was inspired to write and teach because he wasn't perfect? Same goes for David and all the prophets and apostles. Are you perfect? Who are you to throw stones? Your judgment isn't sound or biblical.

Those who truly are Christians understand that the Christian thing to do, especially in light of the fact that the worst accusations against Herbert W. Armstrong would be thrown out of court, dismissed for lack of evidence, is to give Herbert W. Armstrong the benefit of the doubt, as we would want, knowing we're to love our neighbor as ourselves.
