Malcolm Hoenlein and Howard Rieger Fail Again

In these perilous times, it is essential for Israel , for the American Jewish community and for America that a full public debate and discussion of Israel ’s situation take place. Yet, Diaspora Jewry’s most powerful and established “leaders” have ignored the calls for such an event.

The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel

When Paul preached the gospel at Rome, where was Peter? Why is the book of Acts strangely silent about the twelve apostles after their departure from Palestine? Here, revealed at last, is one of history's best-kept secrets!

The Church of God founded in Jerusalem on Shavuot/Pentecost

Acts 2

Coming of the Holy Spirit
1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come [it wasn't "done away" like religious liars teach - 1 John 2:4], they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The Crowd’s Response

5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”
13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”
Peter’s Sermon

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
21 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD
Shall be saved.’

22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— 23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25 For David says concerning Him:

‘ I foresaw the LORD always before my face,
For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.
26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;
Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.
27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’

29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
34 “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:

‘ The LORD said to my Lord,

“ Sit at My right hand,
35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’

36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
A Vital Church Grows

40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Catholics Did Not Give Us The Bible!

Canonization?

Correspondence with Jonathan Bowles, pastor of the Church of God - In Wales

DAVID BEN ARIEL wrote:
Hi Jon,

I've thought that before, the Bible to the Jews and the NT preserved by the Greeks - one complete Bible showing God is God of both the Jews/Israelites and Greeks/Gentiles and that it is HIS Word - but how do we account then for Gen. 49:10 and Romans 3:2 that says God has entrusted His oracles to the Jews until Shiloh reigns in Jerusalem and regathers the Tribes? Ever wondered about that?

Thanks.

Hi David,

Both passages are refering to the Hebrew scriptures - just as is 2Tim 3:15.

We need to remember which people actually did preserve the NT. That itself should tell us something, as it was not the Greeks themselves, but God doing so through them.

This concept also fits with Heb 13:10, that shows the Jews do not have jurisdiction over the things of the NT - certainly when you put verse 10 into the context it is found in of verses 7-9.

Too often Catholics will smugly claim they gave the Bible to the world. However,
that's a religious lie parrots like to repeat, or a mantra of the mindless who don't know better. God knows. The apostate Roman Catholic Church did not give us anything but mass delusion and counterfeit Christianity.

The early Church of God, consisting of both Jewish and Greek Sabbath-keepers, widely circulated among their congregations what later became known as the New Testament, as historians verify - long before the RCC decided which books they would accept and even add to. What they did give were copies.

Who Gave Us the Bible?

I agree it was definitely THE GREEKS - not the Roman Catholic Church - who preserved the New Testament, but conclude (regarding matters of authority) with an appropriate quote from Passover and Pentecost Differences Settled! -

God has ordained that the Jews preserve His Word on the Law, Prophets and Writings - despite themselves (Rom. 3:2-3). God will not renege on giving Judah this special calling and precious gift (Gen. 49:10, Rom. 11:29).

God has also ordained that Church officials can make binding decisions based upon biblical legal precedents, affecting Church issues (such as discussed in Acts 15 at the Jerusalem council of elders), that do not undermine the foundation of the Church - the Law and the Prophets (Rom. 11:18; Eph. 2:20).

God has not given Church leaders a license to "kill" the brethren by destroying them doctrinally, uprooting and overturning foundational truths, or "playing God" by stealing divine prerogatives (Matt. 5:17, 19; 2 Thess. 2:3-4).

Passover and Pentecost Differences Settled!

Passover and Pentecost Differences Settled!

By David Ben-Ariel

Why do we differ on Passover and Pentecost? Is it because our Father God left us in the dark? Has the God of law and order left us in chaos and confusion? Are we unable to "prove all things" from the Scriptures - as we're commanded - because we're unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the correct dates to observe God's holy days? DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?

Since there are many questions on this holy subject, we must start from the premise that God's Word is true, consistent and does not contradict itself (John 10:35). We must look for those basic Scriptures that are black and white and build our biblical case upon them.

Such supportive Scriptures are actually abundantly available and the biblical evidence is overwhelming! Let us shine the Light of God's Word on our prayerful study with open minds, hearts and Bibles (Isa. 8:20; John 3:19-21; Acts 17:11).

The apostle Paul was inspired to write for the record that "the oracles of God" were committed to the Jews. The sacred calendar is clearly a part of "the oracles of God" (Ex. 12:2; Lev. 23:4). The purpose of the sacred calendar is for the Jews to determine and declare when the holy days of God are to be observed.

Jesus clearly revealed which Jews were responsible for these holy matters. Jesus declared that "the scribes and the PHARISEES sit in Moses' seat" of AUTHORITY (Matt. 23:2).

11;18; Eph. 2:20).

God has not given Church leaders a license to "kill" the brethren by destroying them doctrinally, uprooting and overturning foundational truths, or "playing God" by stealing divine prerogatives (Matt. 5:17, 19; 2 Thess. 2:3-4).

The correct dates to observe God's holy days should not be a Church of God issue, having been settled by God thousands of years ago and preserved throughout the ages by faithful Jews.

So why do we differ on Passover and Pentecost? Because some have refused, rejected, denied and attempted to dismiss the biblical testimony (Rom. 1:18; 3 John 9-10).

We don't differ because God's forgotten or neglected to properly instruct His children in His ways (Deut. 6:7).

We don't differ because we're unable to prove from the Scriptures, beyond a reasonable doubt, what's right and what's wrong.

"Come now and let us reason together, saith the LORD" (Isa. 1:18), "for the LORD has a controversy with His people, and He will plead with Israel" (Micah 6:2).

We differ because some have questioned God's right to choose the Jews to preserve the Bible and doubt God's ability to see that they fulfill their serious responsibility (Ex. 4:11; Isa. 45:9).

We differ because some won't submit to the biblical fact that Jesus clearly decreed that the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat and attempt to usurp that authority by forcibly installing the Sadducees in that position instead. God destroyed the power-base of the Sadducees when the Temple was destroyed but preserved the Pharisees. The Sadducees are history! We must make sure that we support God's chosen and not find ourselves in the enemy camp. (1 Kgs. 2:27,35; Acts 5:39).

God's Church, as a general rule, has stubbornly followed the blind Sadducean dates for Passover and Pentecost. That is to our shame! We must reject the rebellious traditions of men for the commandments of God, otherwise God will reject us as His Priest-King (Mark 7:7-9; 1 Sam. 15:23). It's that serious!

Some, knowing better, continue to enjoy bitter strife and envying, getting caught up in proud personality clashes rather than humbling themselves before the Word of God ( 2 Tim. 2:23-26; Jas. 3:13-18). Truth is truth. It shouldn't be a matter of "I'm right and you're wrong," but what does God's Word say? God is truth. None of us owns the truth, only God does. Any truth that we might have God's revealed it to us (1 Cor. 4:6-7). We're not to take credit for it - all credit goes to God (2 Cor. 4:7).

Thankfully, a growing number of the brethren are beginning to see that the Bible does prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, which holy dates God would have us to observe. Therefore, may we celebrate God's holy days as He would have us to - "in spirit and in truth" - and praise Him for restoring this truth to His Church!

The Book of Revelation deals with two women

Re: Vatican Deserves Destruction [ Post 296284995, reply to 296282554 ]

There are definitely pagan aspects of Judaism that are condemned, as I mention within Israel and Judah Must Get House in Order Before King Messiah Arrives - however, the Book of Revelation deals with two women: the commandment-keeping Church of God versus counterfeit Christianity, the apostate church that is Rome - the Babylonian Mystery religion in Christian drag - an abomination.

Plea to Diehard Catholics & Protestants to Repent

Synagogue of Satan?

Yeshua rebuked the traditional error of the Pharisees. He cut through their entangling traditions and did what He could to free them of their excess baggage, correcting them, getting back to basics - but He didn't throw the baby out with the bathwater, like Jew-haters rashly do.

The Jews didn't want to part with their traditions, like professing Christianity today refuses to repent of their idolatrous traditions, but traditional Christianity is worse than the Jews because they have the example of the obstinate Jews recorded in the New Testament that they should have learned from and yet refuse to, proud and stubborn, stuck in the muck of Babylon.
