I'm pleased Fox News made mention of my book and name and showed them on my Philadelphia Church of God blog, having interviewed me as a former PCG member who was disfellowshipped for writing Beyond Babylon and who strongly disagrees with how Pastor General Gerald Flurry is squandering tithe money in Edmond, Oklahoma instead of going all out to share the plain truth of the Bible, our warning message, with the world in a powerful way that such money makes possible.

4Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
5Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

Those who rightly divide the Word of truth, know that Judas was the accountant; Judas held the bag, he wanted the money in his hand so he could pocket it.
Unlike Judas, I'm not the PCG accountant and I don't want to pocket the money, but rather I encourage the Philadelphia Church of God leaders, I exhort PCG Pastor General Gerald Flurry, to spend God's tithes and His offerings more wisely and become GOOD STEWARDS - better stewards - the Christian thing to do.

Gerald Flurry can't handle criticism!

"Flurry's ad referred to me as "a man that the Israeli police suspects of being involved in terrorist activity." Of course, he offers no proof of it, as they never did either - because there isn't a shred of evidence to even suggest such nonsense! What is clear is that some are terrorized by the truth! So, yes, in that sense, I am a terrorist!"

not so much 'the truth' as 'diehard truth' Dave, there's a lotta folks out there preaching what they feel is God's honest to goodness truth that amount to no more than theological wind socks

That's the plain truth. But how do we know? We go by the Word, the black and white of the Scriptures, and it either confirms or denies their validity. That being said, the apostle Paul said some actually preach the truth, or parts of it, but for all the wrong reasons, but that the Word is still getting preached. Halleluyah!

to oppose that majority, especially under scrutiny, is terrorizing their politically correct universe....

Since others have exposed it, I've never gone after Gerald Flurry for acting cultic in some ways, for amassing a billion lofty religious titles to himself, magnifying himself, for anointing himself as "THAT PROPHET" foretold in Scripture (which Christians know and understand refer to Jesus Christ, not Gerald Flurry), but for going backwards rather than forward (a Herbert W. Armstrong wannabe), creating his own little kingdom in Edmond, Oklahoma, instead of getting the Word out to the world as strongly as possible, not piecemeal but powerfully, not a pip squeak but a trumpet blast that grabs everybody's attention to warn the world, and for permitting the fascist minister Dennis Leap to terrorize the flock (who I've since read had a nervous breakdown and is no longer part of the PCG organization) and lord it over the other ministers and disfellowship me for writing Beyond Babylon without being a "man of stature," a minister, playing politics, when the Bible demands no such criteria.

The fact that Flurry can't handle criticism, when those who voice honest opposition to this or that doctrine in the PCG (or even question it) are put out from the organization immediately, proves he is going papal and is surounded by sycophants who fear for their lives, as if Gerald Flurry can give salvation or assure protection from the gathering Storm. Sounds like Worldwide all over again. Some folks just never learn.

Sheik Palazzi expresses solidarity with David Ben-Ariel

[I've updated the article links]

Subject: Re: Update on visa for Israel

Dear David,
I am simply shocked by what I read. I knew the Israeli government is becoming hard, cruel and dictatorial toward opposition groups (the wife of an activists protesting against disengagement was recently sent to jail together with her month years old daughter) but I never suspected this kind of attitude was extended not only to Israeli citizens, but to Zionist American citizens visiting Israel, too. Plenty of U.S. leftists regularly visit Israel in order to campaign against Israel and to support PLO, and they are not treated in the way you were treated.

Please, accept my solidarity.

All the best,
Sheikh Abdul Hadi Palazzi

Shabbat shalom Sheik Palazzi,
Here is the information you kindly requested:

IF the Israeli authorities truly suspected me of being involved in such a dangerous activity, they would have NEVER RELEASED ME with only my passport in their hands. As for those others allegedly involved in some plot, that were "still at large" - THEY'RE STILL AT LARGE to this day, NINE YEARS LATER, because they don't exist! And, just like NINE YEARS AGO I protested my innocence, I continue to this day doing the same, consistent, honest and true, as God knows, and as they very well know.

Worldwide Church of God in Jordan

I was with the Worldwide Church of God group that broke records staying in Jordan for two weeks in 1987 celebrating our biblical/Jewish Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot), with tours throughout the land, especially Petra (where the High Priest Aaron is believed to be buried), and many later continued on to Israel. The Jordanian government officials said most folks spend a weekend en route to the Holy Land of Israel. Some of us understand Jordan is part of Greater Israel and therefore holy too!

The bombshell Beyond Babylon

Re: Is David Ben-Ariel a Terrorist?

All the while during my six and a half hours of Israeli interrogation, I prayed only to speak what God would have me to say; nothing more or less (Luke 20:12-19). I did clearly warn them that the "peace" process is a trap; that it's about to blow up in their faces, and that a German-led Europe is going to wage a new crusade to enforce the Vatican's version of peace. Catholic Europe will backstab and betray both the Arabs and the Jews. They'll push for Jerusalem to become "an international city" (Zech. 14:2), all under the cover of UN Resolution 181.

I maintained that the only explosives that I'm involved with is the bombshell I've written, Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall. I continually referred them to it, stating that's where my beliefs are on public record (John 18:20).

Will the Branch Davidians sue Gerald Furry and the PCG?

Re: Gerald Flurry's Outrageous Attack Against David Ben-Ariel

VERY strong, David. I don't know how David Koresh got into that article--I could hardly read it--or if he was saying you were a Branch Davidian... Koresh may have a bad name now, but it's really up in the air as far as I'm concerned as to whether he was an evil child molesting bigamist or an innocently maligned religious leader embroiled in writing his book on Revelation...
May God truly give him repentance.

From all that I've read and seen, the Branch Davidians were falsely accused of molesting children, of "stockpiling weapons" (and they were all found to be legally acquired), etc.

Flurry is such a HYPOCRITE it's amazing and sad, but I honestly have no ill will against him.

I am truly surprised at the PCG venom, however, when you are simply just one man! No organization, no millions of dollars to back you up, just a blogger. :)

Yes, as Stephen Flurry calls me in the PCG's first ad, I'm just a little known blogger and yet I knew about the Fox 25 Special Report on Philadelphia Church of God before they did.

Gerald Flurry rants and raves

Re: Is David Ben-Ariel A Terrorist?

Hi David,

I had no idea of all the "to do" that was going on about you! I've never read anything you wrote that would cause controversy. Some people look for trouble and interpret mild remarks in violent ways. I don't think people like that are worth bothering about.

You know you are a good person. You respect others and their opinions, so let whoever he is rant and rave. Surely no one will pay any attention to him.

Best wishes always
