(IsraelNN.com) Ten-year-long negotiations between Israel and the Vatican appear to be drawing to a close, with concerns rising that Israel will cede control of the building housing King David’s Tomb in Jerusalem.

The Bilateral Permanent Working Commission – a team of negotiators representing Israel and the Vatican – released an upbeat press release at the end of last week, speaking of "meaningful progress," "great cordiality," and a mutual commitment to reaching a final agreement "as soon as possible.”

Tellingly, a plenary meeting has been announced for this Thursday, April 30, at the Foreign Ministry. The meeting will be chaired by the two states’ deputy foreign ministers, Danny Ayalon and Monsignor Pietro Parolin. It is widely believed that the agreement will be signed then.

Church Demands Parts of Mt. Zion
The two states have been negotiating a treaty since March 1999 on matters having to do with Church-owned or Church-claimed property in Israel. Among the most significant issue under negotiations is the Vatican’s demand for the Last Supper room, located on the second floor of the ancient Mt. Zion building that also houses the tombs of Kings David, Solomon, and Hezekiah.

In addition, the Vatican is claiming areas around Lake Kinneret, as well as in Caesaria and Jerusalem.

Hints and implications in the Vatican and Catholic press have long indicated that the negotiations are expected to end successfully, from the Catholic vantage point, in time for Pope Benedict’s visit to Israel two weeks from now.

“This is a shame and a disgrace of unequalled proportions,” said Daisy J. Stern, M.D., who has been leading an information campaign on the topic. “Giving away these important areas has no Halakhic [Jewish legal] validity, of course, but signing it away will definitely make it very difficult to ever reclaim them.”

Mt. Zion - International Center for Catholics?
At present, since shortly after the Six-Day War in 1967, the Diaspora Yeshiva has run the Mt. Zion compound, on which it is located, and warns of the catastrophic implications for Israel and the Jewish People if the deal goes through.

The director of the yeshiva explained that if the Catholic Church receives control of the area, just a few hundred yards from the Temple Mount and adjacent to the Old City walls, it will turn it into "the international center for Catholics all around the world, and if the pope just gives the word, Christians will be flocking over here en masse."

"This is an enormous issue that is being pushed through without any public debate whatsoever," he said.

Vatican Signs Agreement with Arab League
Dr. Stern notes that though there had been reports that an agreement might be signed last week, “nothing happened – except that while they [the Vatican representatives] were talking with Israel, they signed an agreement with the Arab League. This is very worrisome. There are no details on the agreement with the Arab League, except that it aims to promote ‘peace, security and stability.’ Who knows what that really means? Are they dividing up the spoils of the future Vatican agreement with Israel – or perhaps they are preparing for the next Arab war with Israel? We don’t know.”

“This new agreement with the Arab League renders the Vatican, most gravely, an interested party in the Israeli-Arab dispute,” said Prof. Hillel Weiss of Bar Ilan University, who has been closely following the issue.

Of further concern is the fact that Israel is investing some 6 million shekels in improvements and renovations to various sites in preparation for the Papal visit. Work at the Last Supper room has been underway for some time.

Blueprint of an Agreement
A Foreign Ministry official confirmed in 2005 that a “blueprint of a possible agreement with the Vatican has been received.” The proposed contract, as Arutz-7 reported at the time, read as follows:

"The State of Israel hands over to the Holy See the use of the Cenacle [the room of the event known as the Last Supper, above King David's tomb - ed.], of the access path to it, and of the spaces adjacent to it... It is the Holy See's intention to inform the Bishops - and through them the world's Priests - that the Catholic Church has been given the use of the Cenacle, inviting them to visit the Holy Place together with their faithful... The Holy See hands over this use of the Cenacle to the Custody of the Holy Land [which acts on behalf of the Holy See]... [which] will keep the Cenacle open from 6 AM to 8 AM for the celebration of the Holy Mass... Official liturgical celebrations of non-Catholic Churches can take place only upon prior written permission by the Custody of the Holy Land."

The proposed agreement also stipulated that the Holy See will preserve the historic character of the site and keep it open to pilgrims and tourists, and that Israel will provide for the safety of the site. The Foreign Ministry official said at the time that “Israel is not prepared to relinquish its jurisdiction over this area.” The world will find out later this week whether this position is still valid.

Rabbi Mordechai Goldstein, who founded and still runs the Diaspora Yeshiva, officially known as Yeshiva Toras Yisrael, told Arutz-7 in the past that "according to their bible, the Land is to return to the Christians, and 144,000 Jews are to return to Mt. Zion. Their plan is for them to take control of the site, and then to announce that they are holding a mass reenactment of the Last Supper, with [all types of religious rituals], and to invite millions of Christians to come to Jerusalem and celebrate." Rabbi Goldstein said that this means much tourism money for Israel, and that someone in the Israeli government is apparently very interested in making this happen.

The King David's Tomb complex, some 100,000 square feet, is "certainly one of the holiest spots in the Land of Israel," a yeshiva source said. "David, Solomon and others kings of Judea are said to be buried here. We've already given away the Temple Mount and the Machpelah Cave, except for here and there when we're allowed in; now they want to give Mt. Zion away as well? For thousands of years, this area was almost always totally closed off to Jews. G-d gave it back to us in 1948, but parts of it were still in range and sight of Jordanian snipers and were not in full use. After 1967, Rabbi Goldstein founded the Diaspora Yeshiva here - and it became an island of holiness, the first yeshiva for baalei teshuvah [newly religious] in Israel; we were there day and night learning Torah. Rabbi Goldstein was almost prophetic in establishing this yeshiva at that time at that spot; destiny from above intertwined him with Mt. Zion."

Dr. Stern and others are attempting to organize a public protest, beginning with an email and fax campaign to Deputy Foreign Minister Ayalon, who will represent Israel at the Thursday meeting. Progress Intensifies Ahead of Papal Visit

JERUSALEM, APRIL 24, 2009 (Zenit.org).- Ahead of Benedict XVI's visit to the Holy Land, members of the Israel-Holy See Bilateral Permanent Working Commission report that "meaningful" progress is being made to conclude their agreements.

A working-level meeting of the commission met Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem to continue negotiations on the economic agreement regarding the fiscal system and Church properties.

"The meeting was characterized by great cordiality and a spirit of cooperation," stated a communiqué published jointly by the Holy See and Israel.

"Meaningful progress was achieved by receiving a report from a working group, and the delegations renewed their joint commitment to conclude the agreement as soon as possible," the note affirmed.

The commission will meet for a plenary session next Thursday at Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Since signing the Fundamental Agreement in 1993, which established diplomatic relations between the Holy See and Israel, the two sides have been negotiating the particulars of tax exemptions and property rights for the Church, in particular for the holy sites. Talks stopped altogether in 2003 for several years, and began again in 2005.

While the negotiations have nothing officially to do with Benedict XVI's visit to the Holy Land, which will take place May 8-15, sources in the Vatican explain that Israel is interested in the good image the Pope's visit can give to the nation, and the Church is interested in consolidating its presence in the Holy Land.

Gentilized Christians, misled by Romanizers!

MILITANT MINORITIES have a dream: SUPREMACY (Deuteronomy 28:43). They only clamor for “equality” as a stepping-stone for their real goal: replacing those in the positions of power with their own kind. (Please notice I stress militant minorities. There are many minority members who aren’t out to harm or undermine White Israelite culture and are a wonderful part of it). Multiculturalism is mad and destroys national unity!

Likewise, the early Church of God faithfully kept the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH (sunset Friday to sunset Saturday) for several hundred years. Later, under political pressure and religious opposition, they backed down. They allowed the observance of “the venerable day of the Sun” back-to-back with God’s Sabbath. What a tragic mistake! We’re still suffering the consequences of such shameful compromise.

By sanctioning Sunday services, the Church gave SUNday the necessary clout to claim “equality.” That peaceful coexistence was short-lived, however. Soon the Gentile “converts” managed to make it illegal for Christians to keep the “Jewish Sabbath!” In 365, during the Council of Laodicea, they forcibly substituted Sunday for the seventh day Sabbath! Constantine or Christ? Yeshua said He was Lord of the Sabbath - the seventh day Sabbath is the Lord's Day. Yet Constantine pimped SUNday and his Christian reprobates- apostate Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant followers - continue to keep it as an idolatrous tradition over the commandment of God. This plain truth angers many of the self-righteous!

Earlier, to promote “unity”—NOT the truth—the Council of Nicea (in 325 AD) ruled the Christian PASSOVER (commemorating Jesus’ death) had to go! Whoever disagreed faced the death penalty! Their religious fabrication supposedly emphasized Jesus’ resurrection—in direct violation of Christ’s command! Eventually they stopped their charade of keeping the Jewish Passover of the Lord, moved their new Roman holiday to a different date that the faithful - like Polycarp and Polycrates who kept the biblical Passover- opposed, knowing it was devised by deceived and deceiving Gentile men) and eventually even called their celebration Easter instead of Passover or Pascha. But they forgot to give it a Christian-sounding name. Easter’s the Babylonian spring goddess—Baal’s playboy bunny! They had given up the kosher Lamb of God for a rabbit trick! And to this day, many Gentilized Christians, misled by Romanizers, even go so far to add insult to injury by pigging out on Easter ham and having Easter egg hunts!

In time, anything even remotely “Jewish” about the Church of God came under attack. The Gentile minority-turned-majority demanded changes to reflect their “universal” appeal. They wanted to appear more inclusive—at the expense of the Church’s Jewish (read biblical) heritage. They were intent on destroying the doctrines they once held dear.

Changes… for the Worse!

Misguided ministers GUTTED THE BODY OF CHRIST and were now picking at the bones (Micah 3:1-3). In their racist zeal, they were throwing out the original truths and replacing them with popular error. The early Church of God, with its now-derided leaders, should’ve NEVER attempted to power-share! It only led to disaster. They foolishly enabled their “equals” to oust them (3 John 9, 10).

Not everyone was thrilled about all the changes taking place. The flood of “new truths” had come so fast and furious, many were caught off guard (Rev.12: 15). They were simply unprepared for this “scholarly” onslaught (Malachi 2:12). Some expressed concern, others questioned what was going on, but everyone sensed something just wasn’t right. It seemed almost overnight everything they’d been taught was somehow wrong. Now there were DIFFERENT MEANINGS given to biblical words, and supposedly the Church now had a “deeper understanding” of various scriptures.

What was troublesome to longtime members, though, was that these DOCTRINAL DIFFERENCES didn’t enhance or add to whatever they already understood—it took away, undermined, or totally denied what they’d PROVEN to be true. They felt that they shouldn’t give these new “Christians” the time of day (Galatians 2:5) and agreed with the words of the apostle Paul who spoke against adultery, warned about whoring around with foreign gods and alien religions, who condemned mixing and matching biblical truth with pagan error:

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-16).

Therefore, unlike the majority of spiritual drunks and whores, the many who followed after false Christs, they refused to surrender God’s truth, accept a pagan truce, or enter into a marriage of convenience. They knew better! And they weren’t going to deny God’s truth or ignore it—despite charges of “refusing to grow” and “worshiping a man” (Paul). They knew the true source of such slander (Rev.12: 10).

The Faithful Few

"For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted... 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works" (2 Corinthians 11:4).

Those Sabbath-keeping Church of God members, who remained faithful to the original Christian beliefs and authentic practices established in Jerusalem, who didn't succumb to seducing spirits or fall for the many different versions of "Jesus" and other "gospels" attractively offered that they were warned about, were forced to flee for their lives. They became part of the “underground” and got involved in “the resistance movement.” They had to hide out in the mountains and valleys of Europe and Asia Minor to escape persecution and death (Revelation 12: 6).

Beyond the pale of the pope, these “wandering Jews” carried their “Sanctuary” with them, and its attendant truths (Hebrews 11: 38). During their wilderness trek, God’s true Church would retain its unique identity (John 17: 11). Though banished upon penalty of death, these freedom fighters kept the FAITH alive (John 8:32). They knew that God would end their exile, and waited patiently for TRUTH to triumph over tradition.

The Jews are a small but important part of the big family of Jacob-Israel. There are Twelve Tribes of Israel. Hitler's Burnt Offering of Jews (Holocaust/Shoah) didn't occur until after they had been warned by secular and religious alike, by Jews and Gentiles, by Hitler's own words and the words of the Law and the Prophets. The Jewish Holocaust was only a type of the imminent nuclear holocaust that will strike the American, British and Jewish peoples.

Sadly, too many Jews are hypocrites! They wring their hands, hold sanctimonious group hug memorials around the world and seek the sympathy of the nations they witness to, while testifying against themselves by exposing their miserable failure to learn the lessons of Hitler's war against the Jews: there's no lasting place for Jews in the Exile (where most remain), that such a self-imposed exile will lead to self-destruction (in one way or another), that you must take your enemies at their word, not your wishful thinking (like the delusional "peace" process), and it's necessary to return to the Torah of God and Homeland of Israel.

The Jews are permitting the pagan pope - a Babylonian envoy, a modern day Balaam - to pollute the Holy Land of Israel while the bloody Vatican holds the Temple treasures and Judaica hostage! The Israelis are inviting the German fox into the chicken coop!

The Vatican's hateful stance against Jews and Israel is well known, and yet Jewish sheeple are downplaying or ignoring it to their own peril! Others, like the "indefatigable subversive" Shimon Peres (as Yitzhak Rabin exposed him), actively collaborate with the Antiochus Epiphanes of the European Union and will soon see all Israel suffer a brutal betrayal when the German-Jesuit jackboot stomps Jerusalem!

Beyond Babylon warns: Beware Roman wolves in sheep's clothing! *Europe's New Crusade has its evil eye on Mount Zion and is after the Temple Mount. But Jews won't listen any more than Joes (descendants of Joseph, the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples), especially the Christian reprobates, since we're a nation of drunks and whores who have been warned to shape up or get shipped out!

Even though Israel and Judah (the British-Israelites and Jews) will soon suffer the worst time in history, the Time of Jacob's Trouble, the Great Tribulation - having failed to take our God-given warning seriously - Two Witnesses in Jerusalem will offer hope and comfort to our captive audience and prepare us to meet our King.
