20 Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— 21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22 which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of MEN? 23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh. Those who rightly divide the Word, who submit to the plain truth of the Bible, know that Colossians was speaking of both pagan Gentile and strict Jewish criticism of the Church of God for keeping the biblical Sabbath and biblical festivals in spirit and in truth.

All nations must learn about the God of JACOB [not Esau or Ishmael] or they'll become history.

Isaiah 2:3
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the [Temple] mountain of the LORD, to the [temple] house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law [it wasn't done away], and the word of the LORD [not allah] from Jerusalem [not Rome or Mecca or Medina].

Here's a wonderful description of how the God of Jacob works and how He teaches the nations:

Traditional Christians, counterfeit Christianity, reprobate Christians, must repent of their accursed replacement theology that cheaply substitutes Sunday for Sabbath and pagan holidays for biblical festivals.

If only Shmuly Boteach were passionate enough about Israel to follow Judaism to the Jewish homeland! You noted his mention of the Talmud. The Talmud also declares: “In all times, a Jew should live in the Land of Israel, even in a city where most of the inhabitants are idol worshippers, and not live outside of the Land, even in a city where most of the inhabitants are Jews.” In Eretz Yisrael, he could have plenty of Jewish neighbors and concern himself with Jewish and Israeli issues and leave the ghetto with all its woes behind. Furthermore, the Temple Mount doesn't only have hostile Muslim neighbors who aid and abet terrorism, it's polluted with their foreign objects where the House of Prayer for All Peoples is meant to stand! Doesn't that rile him? Why the woeful neglect? Run for office in Israel!
